Refund and Returns Policy
At Hilightkart Ecommerce Private Limited, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you’re not, we’ve outlined our policy for returns and refunds below.
1. 7-Day Easy Returns
You can return most items purchased from Hilightkart Ecommerce Private Limited within 7 days of delivery. To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- Unused and in the same condition that you received it.
- In its original packaging.
- Accompanied by the original invoice or proof of purchase.
Please note that certain items, such as personal care products, innerwear, or opened electronics (unless defective), may not be eligible for return due to hygiene or manufacturer policies. This will be clearly stated on the product page where applicable.
2. How to Initiate a Return
To initiate a return, please follow these simple steps:
- Log in to your Hilightkart Ecommerce Private Limited account and navigate to “My Orders.”
- Select the order containing the item you wish to return.
- Click on the “Return Item” option next to the relevant product.
- Fill out the return request form, providing reasons for the return and attaching any necessary images (e.g., in case of damage or defect).
- Our customer support team will review your request within 1-2 business days and provide instructions for the return. You might be asked to self-ship the item, or we may arrange a pick-up depending on your location and the product.
3. Refunds
Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7-10 business days.
- If rejected, we will provide a clear reason for the rejection.
Refund Methods:
- For payments made via Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI, refunds will be credited back to the original payment source.
- For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds will be issued as Hilightkart Ecommerce Private Limited store credit or transferred to your bank account via NEFT. We will contact you for your bank details in such cases.
Late or Missing Refunds:
- If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
- Then contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
- Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
- If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at info@hilightkart.in.
4. Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately within 48 hours of delivery.
- Provide your order number and clear photos/videos of the damage or defect.
- We will investigate the issue and, if confirmed, arrange for a replacement or a full refund, including any shipping charges, at no additional cost to you.
- Please do not attempt to repair the item yourself.
5. Cancellations
- You can cancel your order free of charge at any time before it has been shipped.
- Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be canceled. You will then need to follow our standard return process upon delivery.
- To cancel an order, please log in to your account or contact our customer support team as soon as possible.
